RETURN POLICY, ORDER CANCELLATIONS, GENERAL INFORMATION, AND SHIPPING INFORMATION

What is the Studio Gerbrandt Art return policy on prints?
Studio Gerbrandt Art offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee.  I hope that you love your Studio Gerbrandt artwork and that it brings you much encouragement in the years ahead. But if, for some reason, you are not satisfied with your order, we will gladly accept a return for exchange or for refund (less shipping), provided the item is returned within ten (10) days from the date of shipment. After the 10-day grace period, all sales are final.

What if my order is delivered with obvious damage?
If your art order is received with obvious damage, it is most likely the result of a shipping mishap. If the box or package was damaged in shipping, please photograph the box prior to opening it, and send us the photo, so we can contact the shipping company regarding any damage. You may refuse the package and have the carrier return the package to sender. Please call Stephanie at 778-985-8913 or by e-mail at stephanie@studiogerbrandtart.ca to let us know, so we can immediately arrange a replacement shipment, which is dependent upon item availability. 

Return policy for  PRINTS  in the case of shipping damage or a mis-filled order:
If damage to your print(s) is discovered after the package has been opened, or you received the wrong print(s), please contact us within 24 hours of receipt, along with photos of the packaging and the print(s). You may call us at 778-985-8913 or by e-mail at stephanie@studiogerbrandtart.ca or fill out our “Contact Us” form on the Homepage and type "Damaged Order" in the Subject. You will have the option of replacing the item free of charge (if applicable) or receiving a refund. 
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the issue. Refunds and returns will not be considered after 7 days of having received the print(s).

Return policy for  PRINTS  in the case of  customer damage:
Your print is delicate. It is carefully and professionally packaged. If it is an unframed art print, depending on the size and whether you have requested a single mat or rolled option, it will be packaged in a stay-flat mailer or a protective industrial tube for safe shipping. Once received, the print tube should only be opened by your chosen professional framer for immediate framing. If not opened by a professional framer, Studio Gerbrandt will not be responsible for any damage to the print caused by mishandling, and no refund or exchange will be possible.

Return policy for  ORIGINAL paintings:
I truly hope that you will love your Studio Gerbrandt Art original painting. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the original painting in its original condition within 30 days of receipt.  I will provide a refund or an exchange if we receive the painting in the same condition that it was sent to you.
After the 30-day grace period, all sales are final.
The customer is responsible for all return freight and insurance on returns and responsible for any damage in transit for the return. We strongly suggest that you pay insurance on items being returned and that you use a traceable delivery method. Any freight claims for damage on return shipping will be the customer’s responsibility. 

What if I want to cancel an order?​
Once you have placed and confirmed your order, it is non-refundable due to change of mind.

NB:  Once an order is placed and paid for, it is considered final and no amendments or cancellations can be made.

But if suddenly after confirming your order, you do require a change, please contact us immediately:  if you contact us BEFORE your order has been processed and shipped, we will cancel your transaction at no cost to you; however, there will be no cancellation and no refund if cancellation is requested after the painting/print has been processed and shipped.
 
How do I return an item?
A returned item must be included in the original packaging it was shipped and with all accessories included. If it is not returned with the original packaging then the return is subject to a 20% restocking fee. Be sure to specify the reason for the return, and what action you would like us to take:  free replacement (if applicable) or refund. 

The customer is responsible for all return freight and insurance on returns and responsible for any damage in transit for the return. Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned artwork, and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
 
All shipments across Canada are sent via Canada Post as regular parcels. Please allow between 1 and 10 business days for delivery from date of shipment, depending on local, regional, or national shipping.
 
Other International Orders:
 
At this time, we are not shipping internationally for orders placed through studiogerbrandtart.ca. However, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have found a piece in our shop that interests you in particular, and we will coordinate for shipment outside of Canada.
